Moore's Civics & American History

Welcome  to the world of history.  This website was developed to better foster communication between myself, students, and parents as well as provide resources and information to students so that they will have the tools they need to be successful in Civics & American History Classes.  Students and parents, need to get a hold of me? About Me

Blountstown Middle School Civics & American History Teacher

My name is Janice Weathers Moore. I graduated from FSU in 1990 with a BSW, Social Work degree. I worked for the State of Florida in the area of Counseling and Probation for several years. I’m the mother of 2 daughters, both live in Calhoun County. My husband is Roy Lee Moore, retired from Calhoun County Road Department. I started teaching in 2006 in the area of ESE. In 2008, I started teaching Social Studies. I feel that I have the best job in the world. I’m doing something that I have a passion for and hope it overflows to the students. It is my honor to be a part of your child’s education. I believe with parental support and with high expectations, our students will succeed not only here at Blountstown Middle School but also in life. Please let me know if there is anything I can so to assist you or our student.
